Natasha

At 8 years old, Natasha was living on her own in Russia. Her mom was dead and her alcoholic father had disappeared. Her teeth had never seen a toothbrush; some rotted down to the gums. She said it hurt to eat, when she could find some food.

Like most orphans Natasha was very physical in her displays of affection. She craved physical touch. She would grab anyone and hug them for as long as she could.

She wanted the one thing that is impossible to survive without; to be held and loved.
