Song

Having escaped the oppression of Myanmar, Song (12) lived in a primitive refugee camp in Thailand. She knew she wasn’t supposed to be out in public, but decided to risk a ride on the bus. But the bus was stopped; Song was dragged off, and sold into slavery. The police couldn’t be contacted, because it was the police who had kidnapped her.

Several months later, they learned that Song was sold to a man hundreds of miles away. Plans to rescue her were prepared. After some dangerous moments which rivaled anything Hollywood could create, Song was finally rescued. Today she is still a refugee, but no longer a slave.
