Tasha

Tasha (10) has experienced malnutrition her entire life in her native country of the Philippine’s.  Undernourished, the small ten-year old girl weighs barely 50 pounds and stands under four feet tall. Every day Tasha experiences stomach cramps due to hunger. Her growth remains stunted. She has weak bones.

Despite her physical hardships, her spirit remains strong. Her smile is as powerful as a 1000 megawatt torch!

Food for Orphans steps in and brings food and much-needed medical care to help brave young spirits like Tasha. Now, as she is romping about, she does so with a full stomach and medical assistance when she needs it.
