Last March Nora contracted an infection. Nora did not have money to get her medication. They found her lying outside of the clinic on the pavement. Nora had died and Thandiwe was now an orphan.
Thandiwe was at a loss, no family willing to take her in, and no money to buy food. Thankfully, a local pastor took in her and six other orphans. Now she receives love and support from her new family.
But Thandiwe will never forget her wonderful mother, a woman who loved and cared for her even in the midst of fighting the most severe of illnesses.
